Eyewear JOHN LENNON
John Winston Ono Lennon was born in Liverpool on October 9, 1940. He made his name 20 years later as John Lennon, forming the legendary group the Beatles with his friends Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Paul McCartney.
The group enjoyed immediate success with their first album. From 1963's Please Please Me to 1970's Let It Be, they got young people moving around the world with their music, which blended innovative musical styles and influences.
In 1970, John Lennon broke away from the group to pursue a solo career, supported by his wife Yoko Ono, a Japanese artist. It was during this period that he composed his most famous song, "Imagine". In 1975, he became a father and retired from the media scene. He ceased his public activities to devote himself entirely to raising his son Sean. Until 1980, when he reappeared with his last album, "Double Fantasy", a few weeks before being murdered outside his New York home on December 8, 1980.
John Lennon was slightly short-sighted, and wearing his round glasses, he was instantly recognizable.
