KOALI eyewear
KOALI The history of the KOALI brand is that of the MOREL family, which has been designing eyewear for four generations. Jules Morel was the founder. In 1880, he created pince-nez, an activity he pursued in addition to his agricultural work. Then, in the 30s, it was Marius who produced the first spectacle frames. In the '60s, Jacques, assisted by his brothers and sisters, continued Marius's work and established the "Morel" name worldwide. Design became their trademark, with creative products. The family business is based in Morbiers, in the Jura region of France, famous for its eyewear. In 1995, Morel decided to rename its brand KOALI. The new objective was to offer frames made in France from the Jura region, from design to manufacture, with nature as the main theme. Today, several KOALI eyewear and sunwear collections have been developed. As has been the case since 1880, the current generation has learned from its predecessors to provide increasingly personalized, irreproachable quality.
Choose KOALI eyewear that's both whimsical and refined
For several years now, KOALI eyewear has been designed for both men and women. They are available in models inspired by vegetation and animals. The motifs are generally located on the temples. Generally rectangular in shape, they are rimmed, pierced (without frames, the lens is pierced) or semi rimmed (the lens is stabilized on the upper part of the frame). The materials selected are acetate and metal. All visual corrections are possible. After consulting your ophthalmologist, he or she will give you a prescription specifying the correction for your visual problem. This may be myopia, which is characterized by poor distance vision, hyperopia, which makes your vision blurred, or astigmatism, which makes your vision unclear at any distance. But it will also tell you that you've become presbyopic. Presbyopia often occurs after the age of 40 and causes blurred vision at close range... Other corrections may also be necessary. At MyMonture, our lenses come from our French subsidiary Essilor.
