NIKE eyewear frame
It's 1971 in Oregon, USA, when two athletics coaches and accounting students decide to create the NIKE brand.
They had known each other since 1950. They were Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman.
Before embarking on their own story, they first realized how expensive athletic shoes were.
In 1964, they founded BRS (Blue Ribbon Sports) with products from Japan at very competitive prices.
Driven by the desire to market their own shoes, they agreed to found the NIKE brand. The name refers to the Greek goddess of victory, Nike. According to Greek mythology, Nike could move very quickly thanks to her wings.
In the same spirit, Phil and Bill chose the "Swoosh" logo, representing an inverted comma symbolizing speed.
In 1972, Bill Bowerman presented his first shoe, the "Cortez", born of his imagination. This was followed by creations based on new technologies: air cushioning, high-performance soles...

Designed for both men and women, NIKE frames are mainly rectangular in shape. They fit virtually any face shape. However, you can choose between square, oval, round and pilot frames.
Two types of frame are available: rimmed and half-rimmed. For the latter, the lens is attached to the upper part of the frame by a nylon thread.
