Hugo boss eyewear

In 1923, Hugo Boss opened his own store in Metzingen, Germany. He manufactures men's workwear and protective suits for industrial workers. Hugo Boss also designs uniforms and raincoats, mainly for the army. from 1939 onwards, the factory had practically no more orders for the army, and the company resumed its first garment production. In 1948, Hugo Boss died, and his son-in-law continued to develop the company.

Two of his grandchildren took over the company in 1957. They oriented the company towards men's ready-to-wear. In 1970, Hugo Boss was taken over by Uwe and Jochen Holy. One was responsible for developing the marketing side of the business, while the other researched the latest trends. The brand launched the production of men's suits. The fabrics offered are of excellent quality and have a youthful cut. The brand found its clientele among young, ambitious executives, reflecting a masculine image of professional success.

Over time, the brand developed clothing for women and sports.

In 1997, the Hugo Boss group was taken over by designer Werner Baldessarini, who obtained licenses with manufacturers to create clothing collections and accessories such as ties, perfumes, shoes and sunglasses.

After launching its sunglasses collection in 1998, Hugo Boss now offers a collection of eyewear that reflects the brand's spirit of refinement and elegance. They are stylish, non-conformist and unconventional.

Hugo Boss eyewear: simple, trendy style

Hugo Boss offers its fans a series of eyewear collections. Colorful, retro and featuring abstract graphic motifs, they are a delight to wear.

The shape of the frames - square, simple, rectangular or aviator - delights fans of the brand. Colors range from bright apple green and yellow to classic black, gray, burgundy and black...

Made from metal or acetate, Hugo Boss eyewear is light and comfortable to wear. They are designed for both men and women, and some are unisex. They are both timeless and original.

On the MyMonture website, most Hugo Boss sunglasses are adaptable to your eyesight. The organic lenses of Hugo Boss sunglasses offer excellent optical qualities. They are lightweight, impact-resistant and adaptable to a wide range of frame types, including nylor, rimmed and some pierced. They can be thinned and are not very sensitive to scratches.

Organic lenses have the advantage of filtering 95% of the sun's rays, and are compatible with the vast majority of coatings: anti-reflective, photochromic (which lightens and darkens according to light)... Hugo Boss eyewear lenses come from Essilor, a company that designs and manufactures corrective lenses.

Depending on your ophthalmologist's prescription, MyMonture can fit Hugo Boss frames with progressive lenses to correct various visual defects such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, or with half-distance lenses to correct a single visual defect.

The advantages of MyMonture when buying Hugo Boss eyewear

Have you noticed while browsing our website that MyMonture offers you online third-party payment? That's right! Our team is made up of several state-qualified French opticians. All are French national health insurance approved and have partnerships with over 300 supplementary health insurance providers. As a result, your out-of-pocket expenses can be as low as €0. Once you've selected your Hugo Boss frames, create an account on our site and send us your health insurance certificate, your supplementary health insurance providers card and, of course, your ophthalmologist's prescription. Once we have these documents, just like at a regular optician's, we will be reimbursed directly by these various organizations.

You've taken advantage of the purchase of your Hugo Boss prescription glasses to add a few accessories: lanyard, magnifying glass, glasses cleaner... You still have a few euros to pay. For amounts between €100 and €2,000, we offer you the option of paying your invoice in 3 instalments. The first payment is made when you place your order, and the other two 30 and 60 days later.

Would you like to try on your eyewear before ordering? You can test them for free at home for 7 days. Need further advice? Contact us by e-mail, chat, contact form or phone 03 21 91 40 40 .
