John Winston Ono Lennon was born on October 9, 1940, in the great city of Liverpool. He made a name for himself in the early 1960s as John Lennon, when he and his friends Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr founded the famous English musical group "The Beatles".

In 1975, he withdrew from all public activities to devote himself exclusively to raising his little boy Sean. John Lennon had decided to resume his artistic profession just a few weeks before he was murdered outside his home on December 8, 1980.
