Since 1987, the company has been marketing and manufacturing disposable lenses for the first time. Initially, they were worn for one week, so it was important to take care of each lens every night. Then, they became daily disposables, meaning no cleaning product to worry about, easy to take everywhere, discreet and comfortable.
ACUVUE daily lenses are available in three models. Your ophthalmologist will prescribe the most suitable for you: 1 Day ACUVUE TruEye, 1Day ACUVUE Moist or lenses specially designed to correct astigmatism.
The fortnightly range, such as ACUVUE OASYS, can be changed every 15 days, or every 7 days for continuous wear, but only with your doctor's approval.
The JOHNSON & JOHNSON company has thought of ways to relieve presbyopia with its soft lenses. Age is no longer a barrier to contact lens wear.
Things to remember
Lenses are products that require perfect care. To be a risk-free wearer, you need to be very hygienic. Saliva and tap water are not suitable for cleaning your contact lenses.
