They are made from silicon hydrogel - senofilcon A, a material recognized as innovative for daily wear and monthly replacement. Acuvue Vita lenses feature a Class 2 UV filter to protect the cornea. However, they are no substitute for sunglasses in bright sunlight.

The box contains 6 Acuvue Vita contact lenses, enough for about 6 months for one eye. After each use, your lenses should be cleaned with the manufacturer's recommended disinfectant solution, which has never been used. Before removing your lenses, first wash your hands with a fragrance-free soap, then wipe them dry. Then, as soon as they've been removed, clean them. Never rinse them with tap water, as impurities could be deposited, exposing your eyes to infections.
