Can you help me read and understand my prescription?

Our opticians are available to help you Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm:

They will be able to advise you on the frames and lenses best suited to your correction. Our opticians are also on hand to assist you with your order and help you draw up an estimate.

How do I send my prescription?

Your Mymonture online optician offers several ways of sending your prescription:

  • - By importing it directly on the website (when configuring your lenses)
  • - By e-mail to the following address: ordonnance@mymonture.com
  • - By post to 13 RUE MONTJOIE - 62280 SAINT MARTIN BOULOGNE.

When I place my order, do I need to provide you with my prescription?

To benefit from online third-party payment, whether for optical equipment or contact lenses, a prescription is required.

For an optical frame with corrective lenses
Whatever your correction, you must provide us with a prescription. The prescription must be :

  • - Less than 5 years old for people aged over 16
  • - Less than 3 years old for people aged over 42
  • - Less than 1 year old for people under 16

Your prescription will enable us to make an optical fitting adapted to your corrections. Once we have received your prescription, we will be able to provide you with the necessary documents for your reimbursements from French national health insurance and/or your supplementary health insurance providers (healthcare reimbursement form, invoice and duplicate).

For a sunglasses frame adapted to your eyesight
Your prescription must be sent to us so that our opticians can assess your degree of correction and make the appropriate optical adjustments. As with the purchase of prescription glasses, this prescription must be dated :

  • - Less than 5 years old for people aged over 16
  • - Less than 3 years for people over 42 years of age
  • - Less than one year old for people under 16

For the purchase of frames only, without corrective lenses
A prescription is not required.
However, if you wish to have your purchase reimbursed by French national health insurance and/or your supplementary health insurance providers, you will need to request a healthcare reimbursement form from our opticians (via ordonnance@mymonture.com) and provide us with your prescription.
