About sunglasses

What is the authenticity of your branded eyewear?

Like a traditional optician, we work directly with eyewear manufacturers, distributors and partner opticians. We are therefore able to offer you high-quality, authentic frames, branded with their respective logos and delivered with their original cases. Of course, all our eyewear, sunglasses and sports glasses comply with CE standards.
As an authorized dealer for each brand, your Mymonture optician can provide after-sales service for all frames, and offer you a valid 2-year warranty.
In addition, throughout the year, we offer you a "SALES" section. Thanks to our carefully selected suppliers, we are able to offer you authentic, high-quality models from past collections at the best prices. Our collections are renewed regularly, so you'll find frames that are close to the latest trends and guaranteed not to be counterfeit.

My sunglasses don't meet my expectations. What are the return conditions?

Returning your sunglasses is easy. You benefit from a 30-day money-back guarantee, instead of the 14 days initially stipulated in the French Consumer Code. All you have to do is return your frame (sunglasses or sports frames) to the following address:
Mymonture.com
13 RUE MONTJOIE

62280 SAINT MARTIN BOULOGNE FRNACE

We strongly advise you to send your package by Colissimo with tracking and signature, or by registered post to ensure traceability. Please also note that you are responsible for the cost of this shipment, and that the returned frame must be new, unused, undamaged and unsoiled.*
Once your return has been received, the Mymonture team will reimburse you within 8 working days*.

*Exceptions mentioned in the General Sales Conditions.

How do I know if my glasses are in stock?

To find out if your frames are in stock, simply check the delivery times, which are shown on each product page. If they are between 24 and 48 hours, your frame is in stock at our premises. On the other hand, if the frame is dispatched within 3 to 5 days, it means that it is in stock with our supplier.

Is it possible to order sunglasses adapted to my eyesight?

What are the different sun protection indices? What are they used for?

  • - Index 0: Index 0 lenses are light in color (transparent or yellow). They do not really protect the eyes from the sun, and are therefore unsuitable for prolonged exposure.
  • - Index 1: Index 1 lenses are very lightly tinted. They filter out between 20% and 57% of ultraviolet rays, and are often used on overcast days or for aesthetic purposes. This category of filtration is very light and does not provide effective protection from the sun and UV rays in the event of prolonged exposure.
  • - Index 2: Index 2 lenses filter out between 58% and 82% of UV rays, corresponding to average protection. These lenses can therefore be worn in changing sunlight and in between seasons, such as early spring and late autumn.
  • - Index 3: Index 3 lenses offer a perfect filter for most sunlight situations. Your sunglasses will filter out 83% to 92% of UV rays. They provide excellent eye protection against the sun's rays and glare in most activities.
  • - Index 4: Index 4 lenses are particularly effective in bright sunlight (summer, seaside or mountain vacations). This is the most powerful filter of all: it can filter out up to 97% of UV rays and is forbidden for driving, as it alters vision and color perception. This type of lens is highly recommended, especially for children.

Note: only category 3 and 4 lenses are actually recognized as sunglasses.

What sun protection indices are available on your site?

At Mymonture, we only offer indices ranging from 1 (low light intensity) to 4 (extreme brightness).
