Julbo paddle sunglasses are designed for water sports such as surfing. The frame contains thousands of air bubbles, so it can float on the water. The curved temples ensure a secure fit on the head and face. The Grip tech material prevents the temples from sticking to the hair, and the Grip Nose system with a soft insert that grips the nose ensures that the goggles stay in place despite wind and waves. Julbo paddle frames can be custom-fitted for corrective lens wearers.

Julbo paddle lenses are made of polycarbonate and available in a range of lens types. Spectron 3CF lenses are coated with a colored mirror and color flash to enhance filtration and reduce glare. Polarized lenses suppress reflection from the water's surface, and polarized 3 CF lenses feature a colored mirror coating that cancels out reflections on the water, and a color flash Orange coating that reinforces filtration and gives the lenses an orange color.

These different technologies offer a wide angle of vision. What's more, the lenses are mass-coated, which means that the coatings last over time and are consequently chemical-free.
