The first collection of OSMOSE eyewear was launched in 2012, with frames featuring 100% polarized lenses. Octika, the originator of the OSMOSE brand, was founded in 2001. It launched on the free second pair market, then expanded with different collections including OSMOSE. In 2017, OSMOSE offered frames with sun clips, featuring a particularly innovative technology, and dedicated to both men and women.

What are the special features of frames with solar clips?

Frames with solar clips are prescription glasses that transform into polarized sunglasses (a filter eliminates glare). In this way, the lenses protect you from UV rays outdoors and from blue light when you're on your screens. The clips are held onto the glasses by an invisible magnet, making it easy to switch from prescription glasses to polarized sunglasses, or even to blue-light protection. The women's frames + sun clips are contemporary in style, elegant and adaptable to all activities. The materials available, metal or acetate, are particularly lightweight and offer excellent comfort. They come in a variety of shapes (rectangular, round, square...) and colors (red, pink, brown, green, black...) so you can match them to your outfits. A significant advantage is that with women's frames + sun clips, you no longer have to worry about being dazzled when you encounter vehicles at night.
