Snob Milano is a Socodeix Group brand whose frames are entirely made in Italy. The collection is young and chic, with both sunglasses and optics. This week, Mymonture presents the new collection it is so proud of.
Snob Milano is the story of a young Italian brand whose ambition is to offer frames with a sober, resolutely vintage design, handmade in Italy. Nevertheless, beyond being a brand offering quality frames at moderate prices, Snob has a special system for its optical frames: a magnetic clip.
Before getting to the heart of the matter, a quick reminder about sun clips:
In the past, sun clips were often used on optical frames to provide protection from the sun without having to change your pair while keeping your optical frame. A way of having two pairs in one by adding a clip.
Today, the same principle is possible thanks to photochromic lenses, which tint in the sun. You can read our article on different lens coatings.
In recent years, sun clips, which had fallen into disuse, have come back into fashion, thanks to the retro look they bring to optical equipment. However, aesthetics aside, the classic sun clip remains fragile and impractical if you want to remove it and put it back on the frame frequently.
This is where the Snob brand came up with the ingenious idea of magnetic clips. The principle is very simple: magnets are placed on the frame at the rivets and on the clip. As soon as the frame and clip come into contact, the magnets attract and the clip is magnetically "glued" to the frame. In the blink of an eye, the wearer of the frame can switch from a classic pair of optical glasses to a pair of sunglasses with no trouble at all, while still looking their best.
Several colors are available for the clips, in solid or gradient tones.
The new Snob collection therefore includes two optical models available in several colors, as well as several sunglass frames.
Snob's sunwear collection is also full of surprises, with a wide choice of shapes and colors.
The GAFI is a round acetate frame reminiscent of models from the 60s and 70s.

The DOGUI, a frame with a double bridge, for a resolutely vintage look.

And for those who like their eyewear with a twist, the CICCI will delight you with its feminine lines and soft colors.
